Schoeps MK 2 H

The Schoeps MK 2 H is an omnidirectional capsule with a slight high-frequency emphasis (boost around 8–10 kHz), designed to compensate for the natural HF roll-off that occurs when an omni mic is used at greater distances from the source.

This makes the MK 2 H ideal for main stereo or surround pickup of orchestras and ensembles where the microphone is placed further from the performers.

Pairs with any Colette series preamp such as the CMC 1 U, CMC 6 U, or CMD 42.
