The QAT-ECO is Ambient's XLR top tip for boom poles. It terminates the pole with a standard XLR connection and interlocks the boom cable, so the cable stays put through the take and unplugs quickly at wrap.
Machined from aluminium, it barely registers on the balance of the pole while cutting the handling noise that comes from a cable shifting inside the tube. It also works as a mount for plug-on transmitters.
