Ambient's Universal Microphone Power Supply UMP III provides your boom pole mics with the necessary power — without adding much weight. Designed to run Phantom or T-powered microphones on a "wireless boom" with typical belt pack transmitters.

Long run time

The 3rd generation of the UMP is easy to operate with one simple button and provides a run time of several hours per charge depending on the microphone used.

Enough power whenever, wherever

The autonomous supply avoids draining the belt pack's batteries, ensuring long battery lifetime and compatibility with any transmitter with mic-level input. Mount it on the boom tip or carry it on your belt with an optional clip (UMP-BC).

Standardized batteries for greener production

Thanks to rechargeable NP-50 batteries, you can use the same batteries already in your kit for the Lockit, microphones or radio transmitters.

Light as a feather

Since NP-50 batteries are much slimmer than AA batteries, the UMP III is very small — 40% less volume and weight compared to its predecessor.

High compatibility

Compatible with any transmitter with mic-level input. In- and output connectors let you configure them individually and are keyed against accidental interchange.

LED interface

A 5-colored LED interface indicates battery status, selected powering modes, and LED status check.
