LECTROSONICS IFBLUE R1c A1 (Rental)

The IFBlue IFBR1c is the value-priced IFB bodypack from Lectrosonics' sister brand, and it drops straight into an existing Lectro IFB setup: it works with the IFBT4 transmitter or any Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitter running in IFB compatibility mode, as long as the frequencies overlap. This one is band A1, 470.100 to 537.575 MHz.

Simple enough to hand to anyone on set. One knob on top for power and level, membrane switches and a backlit LCD on the side for frequency and presets, and up to 10 presets stored in memory so a director or producer can just switch it on and go. It runs on two AA batteries, which for most crews is the real selling point: 10+ hours on alkalines, 12+ on the supplied NiMH rechargeables, 20+ on lithium, and no proprietary cell to keep track of.
