Schoeps CMC 6 U

The Schoeps CMC 6 U Microphone Preamp is the standard full-size Colette preamp, designed for both 48V and 12V phantom powering. Its circuitry recognizes the supply voltage and self-adjusts accordingly, providing performance characteristics that remain essentially the same either way.

The 12V mode draws less current and is preferred for battery-powered recording in the field.
