Deity PR-4 32-Bit Float 4-Input Field Recorder

The Deity PR-4 is a compact, forward-facing field recorder for documentary, ENG and video workflows, with 4 inputs and 6 tracks (4 ISO tracks + stereo mix) in a body small enough to mount on a camera or drop into a lightweight sound bag.

Two XLR inputs (Mic, +48V, Line, AES3, AES42) plus a stereo 3.5 mm TRS input for channels 3 and 4 let you run a boom alongside wireless lavs. ReGain™ preamps deliver up to 60 dB of clean gain (EIN -127 dBV), enough to drive dynamic mics without an inline booster, and the dual-ADC 32-bit float architecture means no clipped takes.

VoiceAware Automix manages active mics in real time and creates a clean stereo reference mix, while every input is still recorded as an isolated track for post.

Dual-media recording writes simultaneously to an SD card (up to 1 TB) and the internal 64 GB SSD, so every take has an automatic backup. You can even send different file types to each medium.

The PR-4 can act as a wireless timecode master for Deity TC-1 boxes, TC-SL1 slates and other Deity recorders, or be jammed via the 3.5 mm TRS timecode I/O (SMPTE LTC/ATC). Full remote control via the Sidus Audio app.
