A pair of Lectrosonics ALP620 shark fin antennas, the standard directional paddle for anything shot at distance. Log Periodic Dipole Array design, so you get a genuinely directional pattern across a very wide bandwidth instead of the narrow band most gain antennas are stuck with. Run them as A and B on a diversity receiver or into an antenna distro and you can point the coverage where the talent is.
Passive, so nothing to power. The skeletal perforated body cuts wind loading, which matters the moment you put them up on stands outdoors, and the whole thing is 1/8 inch FR4 fiberglass board, light and hard to kill. The BNC sits under a protective cover, and the mounting base takes a tripod, a pro tripod or a mic stand.
