The Schoeps CMD 42 is a Colette series digital microphone preamp with direct AES-42 digital output. Combining the legendary Schoeps capsule sound with end-to-end digital signal processing, the CMD 42 eliminates the analog-to-digital conversion step in the signal chain.
Pairs with any Colette series capsule for high-resolution digital recording in broadcast, theatre, and studio applications.
