Sound Devices 833 — 8-Channel / 12-Track Portable Mixer-Recorder

The 833 is Sound Devices' compact mid-range mixer-recorder for professional location sound. Sized like the popular 633, the 833 packs essential capabilities of the flagship Scorpio — including the new Sound Devices preamp design, dual L-Mount powering, internal SSD, and Dugan Automix — into a bag-friendly form factor designed for run-and-gun work, documentary, ENG, and small to mid-size narrative productions.

• Ultra-accurate internal timecode — 0.1 ppm (0.25 frames drift per 24 hours), holds TC up to 4 hours after shutdown

• SL-2 SuperSlot module support for integrated wireless receiver mounting and control
• USB control surface support via MCU protocol (Behringer X-Touch, iCON Platform M+/X+/B+, and the dedicated CL-16)
